The Atelier Ethos

Strictview Atelier was born from an architectural obsession with how textiles hold shape. We quantify tension and spacing so your pieces are as disciplined as they are lyrical.

Story

Our founder sketched knot diagrams long before teaching, measuring drift and angle to understand why two identical cords behave differently. That research evolved into drills, grid overlays, and a calm process for producing consistent results—now codified as the Strictview Method.

Mission

To elevate macramé from “boho” shorthand into architectural fiber art—without losing warmth. We build makers who command premium rates through polished finishing, intentional composition, and reliable client experience.

Principles

  • Measure to master

We track repeatable units: knot height, spread, fall. With numbers, you iterate predictably.

  • Finish like a gallery

Edge control, tapering, pressing, and labeling culminate in heirloom-grade presentation.

  • Calm studio habits

Checklists, light placement, and cord staging protect your flow and reduce errors.
